Grateful for a Year of Collaboration

As we close out the year, we’re incredibly grateful to everyone we had the pleasure of working with. Collaboration was key in bringing our designs to life, and the thoughtful partnerships we build with our clients are at the heart of everything we do.

Rather than telling you what we do best, we want to share something more meaningful — what our clients say about working with us. Below is a curated collection of reviews reflecting real experiences from real clients.

What Our Clients Are Saying:

“Patrice and her team were with us from planning to completion. They provided an amazing experience throughout the entire process. Their relationships with vendors made everything run smoothly. It was worth every penny — everything turned out exactly our style and beautifully executed.”

“Patrice has an incredible eye and pushed us (in the best way) on design choices we never would have considered. We couldn’t be happier with the finishes and cabinetry she selected.”

“Professional, thoughtful, and detail-oriented. Patrice provided cost-saving ideas while still delivering a space that feels elevated, timeless, and intentional.”

We’re also excited to end this successful year by sharing one of our final completed projects: the Sweet Autumn Cove Guest House. This project is a true example of collaboration and teamwork, resulting in a beautifully designed space we’re proud of.

Featured Project:

Tucked into Barton Creek Hills, the Autumn Cove Guesthouse Suite is all about easy, understated luxury. Nothing loud, nothing fussy — just really good materials, thoughtful details, and a space that feels calm the moment you walk in.

The kitchen sets the tone with beautiful marble from Startus Surfaces, installed by Graniteworks, and finished with a subtle reeded edge at the island. A sculptural vent hood by Boomtown anchors the room, paired with real brass details that are meant to patina and get better with time. Boomtown also crafted the walnut paneling and hand-carved accents that quietly steal the show.

The cabinetry was custom designed by Patrice Nichole Studio, with doors in the London style profile from North American Cabinets, a green, sustainably certified cabinet line from Canada that we love designing with. The cabinets were expertly installed by Kirk Laktas and hand-painted by Cheyne of Rise Painting, ensuring every surface felt intentional and tailored. Additional custom millwork — including the built-ins, wardrobe system, closet, and vanity — was fabricated by the local millwork shop known simply as The Shop. Throughout the suite, the hardware tells its own story. Cabinet and interior door hardware from Alexander Marchant appears in a mix of unlacquered brass, pewter, and polished nickel, adding quiet depth and variation. The interior doors themselves are a standout — stunning 2¼-inch-thick Trustile doors, sourced through our trusted partners at Rahme.

Lighting was treated as architecture. A custom unlacquered brass fixture sourced from Italy floats above the island, while additional sconces and fixtures from Visual Comfort provide layered warmth throughout the space. The lighting plan was thoughtfully designed by the Ben Matthews Group, including the integrated alcove lighting in the shower — a detail that brings both function and atmosphere to the bath.

The bedroom is a cozy retreat, painted in Favorite Jeans from wall to wall — moody, calming, and made for slowing down. Warm flooring by Artisan Flooring, big windows from Western Windows, and soft custom drapery by Austintatious Windows & Blinds keep everything feeling relaxed and connected to the outdoors.

Tile selections for the shower and floors were sourced from Ann Sacks, chosen for their timelessness and ability to complement the natural materials throughout the suite. Plumbing fixtures by Rohl were selected for their classic silhouettes and enduring quality.

The project was brought to life in collaboration with Point B Architects, led by owner Maggie, whose architectural vision provided the perfect framework for the layered interior story. Beautifully captured by Chase Daniel (@vuvobandit), this guesthouse is a perfect example of what we love most — great materials, great partners, and spaces that only get better with time.

Thank you to our clients, collaborators, and partners for an incredible year. Wishing you a happy holiday season and a wonderful New Year.
